A dynamic opportunity is available for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in California through telespeech and teletherapy services. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy to students across multiple grade levels, primarily middle school, with opportunities to serve elementary and potentially pre-kindergarten students.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing both direct and indirect speech-language services via teletherapy platforms
- Collaborating with an existing team, including an SLPA and another part-time SLP, to ensure caseload management and effective service delivery
- Supporting a caseload of approximately 50+ students, contributing to individualized education plans and progress monitoring
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Credential (CTC)
- Current California residency and successful completion of district fingerprinting process
- Experience or comfort with delivering speech therapy through telespeech or teletherapy modalities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a telepractice environment while managing part-time caseload responsibilities
